Dodgeball

Those who did not want to stay in Shodo for two class periods were invited to join the club class and participate in dodgeball. Now I know what you are thinking, dodgeball! But Japanese dodgeball is different than Amercian dodgeball.

I was so impressed with this version that I wrote the rules down so I could play later. This dodgeball game was continuous. Once you were out you were still involved in the game. Some games went on for 15 minutes before a team was left without players. The students had so much fun, especially Cole. Anytime a boy can throw a ball at another person is just satisfying. I don't know who had the most fun, Cole or Mrs. McCrary. Mrs. McCrary found a friend from the opposing side that taunted her. He would lay on the ground and challenge her to hit him. Too bad her throwing arm is not what it used to be. We laughed so hard.
