Japan 2006: English with Junior 3 class

These six students will be coming to Nacogdoches in the fall. They will be staying with McMichael. We have had so much fun getting to know them. Their English is very good. Today in class the Japanese students had to make a speech about their school. You should know that their parents were at school observing them in class and their teachers. What a concept!!! After their speeches we played a "tongue twister" game. The Ikueikan students had to say three tongue twisters in English and the Mike Moses students had to say three tongue twisters in Japanese. It was alot of fun. The students received points if they said it correctly. Just so you know, Hanna and Cole got a heart instead of points for their effort...theirs was so bad the teacher gave them a heart as their score. We had a good laugh with that one.
