PTA Party
I forgot all about this event. The PTA, which is just like ours, threw a big party downtown Kagoshima at a hotel for our students and their host families. We ate and ate and ate, which is what we do alot here...no losing weight for me.
Anyway, each of the host students had to introduce their student and say a few words about them. Then the Mike Moses students had to say what their thoughts were since being here for five days and the Ikueikan students had to translate.

It is a custom in Japan to sing karoke at a party. Notice the first group on the stage...and yes, Mrs. McCrary and I had to sing. Unlike this group our song was chosen for us, "Country Roads" by John Denver. WHHOOOHOOO! Mrs. McCrary is a great singer, especially since my microphone was turned off the entire time. Wonder how that happened?
